Deleting the operator deletes the operator's constraints. ATLAS carries no cab, no climate systems, no blind spots engineered around a seat, just structure, drivetrain, and sensors arranged around one job: moving ore.
A diesel-electric drivetrain with regenerative descent feeds continuous haul cycles, and the roof-mounted mast fuses LiDAR, radar, and thermal imaging into a machine that treats blast dust and total darkness as normal operating conditions.
In the fleet
Units negotiate haul routes vehicle-to-vehicle, closing gaps to centimeters and re-sequencing around a stopped truck without human dispatch.
A certified fail-safe braking envelope wraps every motion plan. Anything unrecognized inside it, the machine stops first and asks later.
Sensor swaps and inspections are handled in-pit by SCOUT units, so an ATLAS only leaves the haul cycle for major service.
